The improvement vs the mm plus the MC is small, but noticeable. The mm plus the MC gives the mm alone a run for the money. My verdict If you need the extra reach, the MC is without a doubt worth the money. I managed to get my hands on the newly launched Olympus M. Zuiko MC 2X teleconverter lens, and I spent almost my entire weekend shooting with the MC and finishing up this article, as well as a short video.
