Iso recorder error code
I have been trying out "backup" programs recently in an attempt to find a free program that will let me save my operating system data in it's present configuration, along with all of my personal files such as email, documents, pictures, etc. It was free at MajorGeeks. This is after I've already completely uninstalled the program, and even reinstalled, and uninstalled it again to make sure the uninstall was thorough.
He has somehow also corrupted my "restore" files so that I can't do a system restore to any date before the installation of his program from hell. So, what he's done is hijacked the file that opens my zip folders when I download them, and changed the file name I know this because I have a program called "WinPatrol" that keeps warning me that a program has tried to make the change from the one I mentioned to the other, and then asks me if it's OK?
I wanted to warn the good people that run this site to consider taking that program off of their list of "backup" programs, because I believe it's an intentionally destructive hijacking program and it's made my life miserable. I've been forced to uninstall the. If anybody has any advice on how I can rid my system of this plague please let me know. I ran a system file check and the results disappeared into the ozone as soon as the check was complete. Can I re-install the file in question from the CDs that came with my computer, without reinstalling the entire operating system, and losing my setup?
